Biography
Matt received his undergraduate education at Alvernia University, majoring in Athletic Training. Upon graduating in 2009, he accepted a position as an Athletic Trainer at a high school in Wilmington, DE where he remained until returning to school to further his education. He attended graduate school at Arcadia University, where he earned his Master of Medical Science degree. While there, he was recognized for academic achievement with a place in the Pi Alpha Physician Assistant National Honor Society, as well as being presented with the Clinic Coordinators Award, which is given by the program to the student who exemplifies the highest standards of the Physician Assistant profession.
Matt continues to provide care for people of all ages and activity levels, working primarily with Dr. Joseph Mesa, who specializes in sports medicine, shoulder and knee surgery, and trauma/fracture care. Matt is a board-certified Physician Assistant, Certified Athletic Trainer, and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Delaware Academy of Physician Assistants.
